I read a book when I was a teen back in the 70s by Issac Asimov called Only A Trillion. They should read that to put large numbers in perspective. At least some of the collected essays do. It also has the thiotimolene paper i think.

I'm starting to think the high point of PZ's atheism career is going to have been that movie "Expelled" where he got to share a credit roll with Dawkins.
