It looks like one of the most fun trials of the year is now underway! Oberlin College is being sued by Gibson's Bakery. Here's a highlight from the very first day of the trial: “The concern was that the students were angry?” Plakas asked. “The fear was that angry students would throw food [made by G...

Re: Jim the Pleb Made Me Do It

Are they freaking kidding? For heaven's sake, comments like those are a dime a dozen at A+, FTB and the like! For example: Fuck off and die. That goes for both you and your informaint....As such, you are now my archetype of a vile piece of human scum. Enjoy. Sincerely, fuck you. (at http://atheismpl...

Re: Jim'll Fuck It

EllenBeth and the rest of the Baboons do have this strange obsession with rape, don't they. I reckon a lot of them fantasise about it. Sometimes the fantasies involve porcupines, as well. I expect that a handful of them fantasize about being effective, competent, acheiving, and ground-breaking. Fic...

Re: Now sponsored by
my dick
You guys post really, really, quickly, and I don't like to skip forward in a thread, so it has taken me a really long time to catch up.

But, now that I have, I want to say that I am really sorry that Renee's guy is having such a hard time, and that I wish the best for both of them. *HUG*

Re: Periodic Table of Swearing

Gee, you guys post so fast that when I want to comment on something, pages have already gone by! A little while ago, the topic of the usual suspects whining about catcalling came up. This reminded me of http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/44182286/ns/today-today_news/t/subject-american-girl-italy-photo-sp...

Re: Periodic Table of Swearing

http://freethoughtblogs.com/almostdiamonds/2012/07/25/scientific-racism-among-atheists/ Thanks. The commenter gave what appeared to me to be a perfectly valid and very obviously non-racist explanation for using color as a reason for checking for sickle-cell. However, Zvan of course could not back d...

Re: Periodic Table of Swearing

I just caught this comment on Thimbledoo's latest missive: http://freethoughtblogs.com/lousycanuck/2012/09/14/dr-pepper-vs-the-creationists/#comment-80483 geekadoo says: September 14, 2012 at 10:15 pm ADT Don’t drink Dr. Pepper, even though Diet Dr. Pepper used to be my drink of choice. Quit afte...

Re: Periodic Table of Swearing

BTW, has anybody from FfTB, Skepchick or Atheism+ condemned the doc-dropping of Watson-Rodriguez and the wrong Tony Ryan yet? This is a group of people who claim to "listen to women", but who have multiple terms specifically to abuse and denigrate women, such as "gender traitor", "sister punisher" ...
