Am I the only one who finds Baxters calm demeanor through this whole thing( from what I have seen) well, just a little odd? His wife is being hounded and harassed ( allegedly of a sexual nature) and he's all " please ,please stop it . "
Am I off the mark here?

Re: Mykeru, what a Cnut, eh? Discuss.
But, in passing, this statement by Jason on his blog suggests that Radford’s role in this mess was less than exemplary. And that there might be justification for Stollznow's accusations even if limited evidence for them. Interesting, and so the plot sickens...Er,um...thickens. That does shed a dif...

Great minds express themselves and asked to be challenged.
Small minds express themselves and demand to be agreed with.
One of the leading problems with the celebrity skeptic/atheist set.

Is it any wonder that the Skeptics movement crashed and burned when these are/were it's leading lights?
Wellll, maybe minor lights in training to be larger lights.
there is quite a list in the community before we get to those folks.

Re: Mykeru, what a Cnut, eh? Discuss.
Btw, how can Baxter and Stollznow be married, and Stollznow be involved in a legal dispute with Radford, and Stollznow have NO IDEA what kind of deal Baxter is setting up with Radford? That makes no sense to me. Wouldn't this be, like, the #1 issue they'd be talking about all the time? Baxter seems...

Re: Mykeru, what a Cnut, eh? Discuss.
Thanks for the recommendation. I'm well aware of Stalin's purges in the thirties, but I've never read a book about it, let alone any first hand accounts. It's a fictional account but follows the Third purge quite well. Another good read is "Homage to Catalonia" George Orwells diary account of his ex...

Indeed. Although I think it also has some value in emphasizing the idea that truth can be stranger than fiction, and that it is unwise to judge too hastily. Agreed. The truth or at least a reasonable facsimile should come out in the end. For us in the stands, this is merely an amusement of the momen...

Re: Mykeru, what a Cnut, eh? Discuss.
Interesting. The Pit preferred explanation is that Stollznow went back on her agreement and Radford pulled everything at the behest of his Lawyer. This is terrible for Stollznow as the emails are evidence that she agreed that the stuff was made up. Not only that it shows her to be slightly unhinged....

“nattering nabobs of negativism Excellent, a Safire/Agnew quote! Yes I agree, whether it was negative reaction or perhaps offers of support, it seems something happened during the release of the retraction and the long wait for a reaction from Stollznow /Baxter. I do have to admit this kind of spe...

Here's a different comic about one of the most pernicious problems in feminism: The best part of party purity tests and witch hunts is when the accusers start to go after each other. You can almost feel it coming on with the more high profile SJW brigade. Their numbers are slipping and they are sta...
