I thought it might be worth making a thread over here with potential Slymepit logos in it.

That looks real nice. If there were a Slymepit front page with a sidebar it'd look awesome at the top with the slyme oozing down. Reminds me of another website that I think you'd like actually, I will PM you a link.

The problem noted was the dog has clipped ears, while Arnie is such a cuddly looking thing.

One possibility for this would be to use a bit of code to rotate through a selection of logos randomly on each page load.

I think including Arnie opens up a lot of possibilities.
It gets away from the slyme/slime name (which is really the idea of Myers and co. and has limited use as a meme) and concentrates on the second part of the title, PIT - which, if you think of it, can refer to the dog, the pitbull.

I found an old Arnie pic online and included him here.

Made this very quick one to replace the as-is default board logo in the upper corner. It's nothing special, and in blue to fit the current style and just meant to make quick and easy improvement. Take it if you like it or leave it. :)

Should look like this then:

Ah cool! Looks a bit weird to be honest, the white pixles shouldn't be there. Possibly an issue with the pixel transparency of the gifs. Can you make use of an png? If so, try this one if this doesn't cause too much issues (and if it does, ignore ;))

SO I set white in the gif to be the transparent colour, and it looks much worse...

Loved the fish sticks :) you're all very talented. I think the idea of rotating through a selection of logos randomly on each page load is very good.
