Upgrade attempt to 3.2.1 this weekend

#1

Post by Lsuoma »

Hi All

I'm planning to attempt an upgrade to 3.2.1 this weekend - likely Saturday afternoon/evening - prior to migrating to a new host.

Please expect an outage, probably from around 4-5pm PST. That's pretty much a graveyard shift for the Pit anyway...

Oh, and some of the mods - not sure which ones yet - will stop working. I'll add them back as and when I can.

All I hope is that we get rid of the delay and Matt's Matt's double double posting posting.

Board going down for upgrade to 3.2.1 at 16.00 PST.

If upgrade is successful there WILL be some changes. Not sure exactly of everything that will change, but I'll work on getting stuff sorted out as time goes by.

This upgrade is necessary since we are WAY behind the current version, and there are know vulnerabilities that aren't going to be fixed, and for which point-n-shoot exploits are available to kiddies like the SJWs.

OK, working, but ugly. Just like me, and 50% match with Twatson and most SJWs.

As my cow-orkers in an EU project once put it, it doesn't need to work as long as it's fast.

Edit: IS THAT AN EDIT BUTTON?!?

No, I don't think it is.
