Also, it's a bit funny that in English, it's Easter, but in Swedish, it's "Påsk." Derived, I think, from Pesach, a Jewish holiday, while Easter comes from Ēostre, a Pagan festival. It's weird. It should be reversed. Old Nords were known to adopt Pagan rituals, not Christian or Jewish. That's why Christmas in Swedish is "Jul" (Yule).
Still, I don't think I've ever heard it called "Yule worshipping". Strange.

Does anyone else share this problem with me? I find that I can't stand much of the music I listened to in the 1970s and 1980s. So much of it now sounds like childish, stick-it-to-the-man, bullshit. I guess I have changed, but the music doesn't change.
I heard Boston's song "Peace of Mind" the other day and had to shut it off. These fucking guys are total hypocrites. When I was a whiney, depressed, beta I used to love this kind of music. I would wallow in it. Today I am a much more accomplished guitar player and singer and I find myself playing the music that I used to look down upon. Funny... that's all.... just funny. A friend suggested we play "Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Old Oak Tree". I just played a few verses and found myself feeling great joy. What a silly piece of music.... but it really is a celebration. I played it with a big smile on my face.

Ah, but the Dems don't consider it peacetime anymore. That's the extent of their lunacy. They think the election of Trump marked the beginning of another civil war.
They need to disband the whole sodding party and start over from scratch. Can't say I have the same issues. My musical taste(s), or lack thereof, are pretty much indelible - when an act or artist makes the grade and enters my archive, they're pretty much guaranteed "air time" until I kick my breathing addiction.
