What has happened to our species over the last few decades? At least our liberalised western species. It's like as a whole branch of ethnicity, we have chosen biological suicide. After almost 50 years it's hardly a surprise that many young men think being both "hip" and attractive to women means reducing all masculine signals and behaviours, to whine endlessly on phones about how unfair life is.

It probably explains why so many blokes in their late 20's to mid 40's have said fuck that and instead get stoned and spend their days on their games consoles, or go get "swole".

A "land", on a Magic: the Gathering context, is a piece of paper with a scenic picture drawn over it. They can be either cheap, or cost hundreds of dollars each. I really wish I had money back in 1995, so I could be rich today.

In a nutshell what I find so dislikable about the SJW cult, along with all religions, no room for acceptance of subjective viewpoints.

You're seeing, with Gabriel (and the vast majority of the SJWs) the end result of Black-White thinking. Black-White thinking is, basically, a product of bad parenting that leads to arrested emotional development in a child and is a key component of personality disorders such as narcissistic, borderline and avoidant (or whatever they call them in DSM-5). Many, if not most, do grow out of it and eventually mature, which is why loud, obnoxious social-movements like the current SJW 'thing' are mostly populated by young people who are constantly falling into that world-view only to 'grow out of it' later and (frankly) tend to end up being embarrassed about the whole situation.

But with the hard-core, life-long SJW types, they remain stuck. Often in some sort of emotionally-stunted, buy philosophically opposed world-view of the ones that damaged them. Myers is a classic case. He's been more than clear to the contempt he has for his critical and abusive father and grandfather and their conservative world-views. So he became critical and abusive but with extremist liberal world-views.

What I think is more interesting in all this (at least to me) is that Myers may have enough symptoms to be classified with a low-grade avoidant personality disorder. It would explain a lot about the things he has shared about his life and many of his behaviors (internet, flaming warrior but meek and socially awkward man-child in public). Personally, I think he should see a psychologist and try to get straightened out and stop spending his life trying to be as big an asshole as his father and grandfather.

Even as an atheist I went to church well into my late 40s. I happened to like the socialization aspects of it. And the singing. Anyone who is familiar with Russell T Davies' work will know he has frequently courted controversy. There's a scene in the first episode of Queer as Folk where Nathan (Charlie Hunnam), who is supposed to be 15, gets fucked by Stewart (Aidan Gillen) who is supposed to be 30. Feminism happened, a narrative was constructed in which women promoted the idea of wanting men to be more like "women" (meaning whining middle class feminists with egos larger than their abilities). This narrative permeated throughout media enclaves (the only places feminists seem to be able to work in without making an exhibition of themselves) and more importantly marketing and advertisers saw a niche market to develop. After almost 50 years it's hardly a surprise that many young men think being both "hip" and attractive to women means reducing all masculine signals and behaviours, to whine endlessly on phones about how unfair life is.
It probably explains why so many blokes in their late 20's to mid 40's have said fuck that and instead get stoned and spend their days on their games consoles, or go get "swole".

All of that is self-evident. But the social engineering seems to have permeated through on a genetic level. It's like a gene pool that wants to kill itself.

OBJECTIVES:
Equality between partners is considering a feature of the functional partnerships in westernized societies. However, the evolutionary consequences of how in-pair hierarchy influences reproduction are less known. Attraction of some high-ranking women towards low-ranking men represents a puzzle.
METHODS:
Young urban adults (120 men, 171 women) filled out a questionnaire focused on their sexual preference for higher or lower ranking partners, their future in-pair hierarchy, and hierarchy between their parents.
RESULTS:
Human pairs with a hierarchic disparity between partners conceive more offspring than pairs of equally-ranking individuals, who, in turn, conceive more offspring than pairs of two dominating partners. Importantly, the higher reproductive success of hierarchically disparate pairs holds, regardless of which sex, male or female, is the dominant one. In addition, the subjects preferring hierarchy disparity in partnerships were with greater probability sexually aroused by such disparity, suggesting that both the partnership preference and the triggers of sexual arousal may reflect a mating strategy.

...though I have to say that result looks a bit fishy. I'd like to see how they got "reproductive success" out of a questionnaire to "young urban adults" (who are probably still at the start of their reproductive careers).

I don't think he is trolling. His comments remind me of some of the metal forums on myspace I used to hang out in about 12 years ago. Specifically, we'd occasionally draw these moronic youth minister types who came to preach to us without having any idea who we were or what we thought about religion. The important thing to these people was to save us from our atheism/satanism/metalfandom or whatever, and not to legitimize it by trying to understand it.

Aratina isn't here for a dialogue, he's here to give us "things to consider" in the hopes that one day some of the the seeds he plants will grow, and a few of us will rediscover the light of Peezus. He doesn't think people with the aims that he and Peezus have w.r.t. social justice can ever be faulted for the way they advance those aims, so any criticisms we might level at them are just irrelevant heresy. Never mind the fact that he has to resort to comparing Peezus to a vicious animal in order to defend his smears and doxing. The important thing is that we eventually 'wake up' and give Peezus a pass on it, and learn to take our lashes in stride if and when they come to us.

So anyway, I think he has an actual purpose here, and he looks clueless because having a clue is unimportant to his purpose.

I was extremely hesitant about putting him on my ignore list. It's a feature I have never used before, because I think everyone should have their say. But Jasper is not having his say, he's trolling as hard as he can, and not in a funny way. His "ahahaha, I am so great, you're all dead, PZ is gone, Benson comes next" bullshit is really borderline Mabuse/Markuze.

I tried to have a calm discussion with M/M once. It didn't end well.

Anyway, I like the little band that states he's posted something. I can even click on it to see his comments, but at least I don't have to withstand his bullshit if I don't want to. Way better than scrolling.

While I think you are both pretty spot-on in most respects, I wouldn't entirely discount the money. Didn't he mention once he made around $50k? That's not a lot of money.
