I have mixed fellings about him. While I think he has more honesty and integrity than any of the other FTB bloggers, he does, nonetheless, fall into some trademarked FYB behaviour from time to time.
At one point he disallowed any and all comments whatsoever about Rebecca Watson, even if the comments were for a post that was directly relevant to her (as topic) in some way or other.
He states that his is an open blog, but that's false. He has a list of topics he will not allow, and usually, even when it's clearly false, claims that it is not the topics but their lack of direct applicability to the post they're attached to that disallows them.
However, compared to all the other FTB blogs, his
is an open blog, and he only very rarely deletes comments he doesn't like, and has only once or twice, so far as I can rememver, actually banned anyone.
He also gets some serious flak and typical delusional hatred from some of the usual bunch from Pharyngula, which is kind of fun to watch.
