How the hell is "journalist lives (or livelihoods) matter" a
racist comment?
Do black people hold a copyright on the expression "X lives matter"?
Or do black people's lives matter more than anyone else's?
If trans people wrote "trans lives matter", would it be racist? If gay people wrote "gay lives matter", would it be racist? If radfems wrote "women's lives matter", would it be racist? I bet not, because that would be "punching up".
But if a journalist who has been attacked says "hey, my livelihood matters, too", suddenly he's guilty of racism, because he's privileged white.
Basically the message that PZ promotes is that if you're white, you've been attacked and say that your life matters you're a filthy racist.
I guess that this means that "privileged lives" don't really matter. When you consider the kind of things that SJWs have written (kill all men, die cis scum, etc.) I guess that this assumption is not too far from the truth.
Social Justice used to be about trying to say that everyone was equal. Now it's become about whose lives matters and whose lives don't.
