I was not going to mention this but one of my fundy brothers is up to eleven kids right now. This is in Southern Ontario, the part where all the Mennonites, Amish, and Fundy Baptists hang out. These are people that own school buses for personal family use.
Anyway, her seven kids are not even considered to be a large family in that crowd.

In the US they all pretty much come that was. Also most come fixed because from what I understand once a female goes into heat it stays in heat until it can mate.
I learned that in a gender studies class.

Remember Dr. Larycia Hawkins from evangelical institution Wheaton College, who went on about how Islam and Christianity are totally the same thing, and Christians should wear the hijab in solidarity? With the hearing about possible termination coming up, she and the school have agreed to part ways.

Welp,
Roosh holds a press conference and puts it up on YouTube. Unsurprisingly the title is Roosh Press Conference - Washington DC - February 6, 201
It looks as if it is being held in his Mom's basement? Anyway, I was going to give it my usual two minutes but instead I wound up watching the whole thing.
Watching rather than just listening, because the body language caught my interest. Reminded me of guys like Putin, DiCaprio etc. so I had to watch it because it was clear that he was not intimidated.
He worked the room. Calling on individual reporters to ask questions.
He refused to apologise, called the media out, called them liars, copy/pasta lazy, made it clear he thought the hate mob they stirred up to be morons, thanked them for the increased book sales and web traffick and all the appreciative email he was getting from women. At one point he mocked one of the reporters for being a wuss with a "do you even lift bro?' like statement before answering.

I suspect that he pissed off a lot of people. He clearly was not trying to get the reporters on his side.

Those things didn't change by people asking ignorant people politely if they could change; change was thrust upon them and they adapted (and whined about it incessantly).

The person acting as moderator for "her side" did have access to that info, however I don't have any reason to think she supplied it to Zvan. Zvan & Benson didn't need info from the dialog process, they had info from my activity at FTB (including an initial "nym" that was my first name, my use of which at FTB pre-dated the 'Pit and which it's now obvious I shouldn't have used there - let that be a lesson).

When it comes to looney toons cultists, if it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck, then I'm fine with not wasting any more time in pretending it isn't a duck and declaring open season.Steersman wrote:Still an inference. Life's too short for that kind of mindless time wasting, blah blah, inferences, bah blah, non judgemental. My arse, this place is founded on the tenet of judgement and inference, carved in stone, soaked in the blood of the wrong sort of feminist. Free speech sure, and I've exercised mine, ta muchly.
My money is 70/30 on either a genuine looney toons, or a Horde minion thinking they're really smart and gonna catch them some slyme. Because of the really smart requirement, I lean more towards the genuine. In which case, fuck that shit.
These sort have been around for decades, but can still only muster 100 people Europe wide to come to a march in Newcastle (and when they got there they hide in a pub because the nasty jewish, black hippies were being mean to them and throwing eggs  ). They aren't the far right, they are a marginalised cult numbering in handfuls worldwide that haven't gained ground since their mind-fucked founder got all gay-repressed back in the 70s.
These aren't the people you can spend time engaging with to turn away from Pegida or UKIP. I'm sure there are some here who will try, cos they're uber non judgemental  , personally I'd rather watch paint dry.
Re: The Refuge of the Toads
Yea team! :-) Didn't listen to all of it - much prefer transcripts as generally too time consuming otherwise - but I noticed at the beginning that JJTalks apparently and sensibly, from recollection, acknowledged the biological binary at least. Part of the motivation for my argument is that people like Zinnia Jones have insisted that transwomen are female - kind of necessary then to draw a line in the sand, and the biological capabilities seems tailor-made for that.Skep tickle wrote:[.youtube]fH65uhEGktI
On biological sex (the French dude comes close to Steers' position on gender), doxxing, & whether companies should be able to choose who they'll serve
Don't know if you know of or followed my frequently provided links to taxonomy, but I think this description of the science and underlying principles is useful and important:
And it seems that the type of gametes produced rather clearly differentiates between two rather large and important groups within the population of most if not all mammals, and in many other phyla (?) as well. While there are, obviously, many other secondary sexual characteristics, it seems they don't necessarily correlate absolutely with the primary ones. And consequently, trying to put names to all of those other permutations and combinations - e.g., Facebook's 56-different-and-counting genders - seems rather silly at best.Taxonomy (from Ancient Greek: τάξις taxis, "arrangement", and -νομία -nomia, "method"[1]) is the science of defining groups of biological organisms on the basis of shared characteristics and giving names to those groups.

Here is the thing. I have no problem with people having lots of children, so long as they can afford to take care of them properly. I know a very intelligent, talented Unix admin that lived on a farm. He commuted 2 hours back and forth to work (4 hours total). He made a pretty good salary. And I assume the farm was used to help feed his kids. And he had plenty of them. Plus I am sure property values were probably rock bottom.AndrewV69 wrote:*sigh*

I knew some people with pet ferrets about 25 years ago. I believe that ferrets still exude a pretty strong ferret scent even AFTER having that gland (whatever it is) removed; these two ferrets definetly had a distinct ferrety aroma which was unlike any other smell I am familiar with. So don't expect them to smell like cats or dogs even if they've been de-glanded.comhcinc wrote:I'm thinking about getting a ferret.

You may remember last summer I was in rehearsed readings for an original musical, The Jazzabelles, about three women in 1950s Belfast who become a jazz trio. Well, a brief tour of Northern Ireland for the full production is imminent. Opens on Thursday night in Omagh, followed by nights in Antrim, Lisburn, Downpatrick and Armagh, for those probably few of you who know or care where those places are. Hopefully more will follow once we've knocked 'em all dead.
I have been demoted, I'm sorry to say. In the readings I played Vince, the group's manager, and had two songs and a significant subplot. They've drafted in a more experienced actor to play the part (and transposed the songs down a bit because he doesn't have my range ;)) I'm instead playing three supporting villain roles, one of whom is essentially the Devil and is represented by my new avatar, with no solos but parts in a few ensemble songs. First dress rehearsal yesterday morning. Here's Nuala Davies as Vera, Claire McCartney as Ella,Orson WellesStephen Beggs as Vince, and Beccy Henderson as Prissy.

No doubt, or very little doubt, that that Creativity movement is kind of off the deep end. Though I think it would be nice if she were to repudiate them - maybe piss on their flag? - or to acknowledge she's part of the group or out proselytizing for them. But, while it seems likely she supports them in some way, given the similarities between flag & avatar, I think it a stretch, or at least premature, to insist that she finds those "non-moronic".Old_ones wrote:Some of the things Creativity73 finds "non-moronic"...Creativity73 wrote:When I find something non-moronic...

Though I wonder whether you knew of that Creativity site before you gave her both barrels.HunnyBunny wrote:When it comes to looney toons cultists, if it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck, then I'm fine with not wasting any more time in pretending it isn't a duck and declaring open season.Steersman wrote:Still an inference. And while it might be moot how reasonable or unreasonable it might be, it is still apparently the case, pace feathers, that she did not explicitly say that.Sunder wrote:I don't think that inference is unreasonable at all. I'm even inclined to think it was the intended meaning of the speaker.

:-) Likewise - take it out for a spin at least once a day. Though I might suggest that the evidence is that sometimes those judgement calls and inferences are out in left field - being charitable.HunnyBunny wrote:Life's too short for that kind of mindless time wasting, blah blah, inferences, bah blah, non judgemental. My arse, this place is founded on the tenet of judgement and inference, carved in stone, soaked in the blood of the wrong sort of feminist. Free speech sure, and I've exercised mine, ta muchly.
In light of that Creativity site, you might well be right.HunnyBunny wrote:My money is 70/30 on either a genuine looney toons, or a Horde minion thinking they're really smart and gonna catch them some slyme. Because of the really smart requirement, I lean more towards the genuine. In which case, fuck that shit.
:-) Turning people away from The Dark Side is my sort of my cause célèbre - or tilting at windmills. But I'll concede that you're likely to have a better handle on various political movements in Europe. However, as we've discussed, and as you have more or less asserted which I've agreed with, many Western governments have more than a few things to answer for in ignoring or suppressing the evidence of significant problems caused by unrestricted immigration of Muslims. In which case there seems some justification for listening to those who have been promoting or advancing that position for some time. Apropos of which, while I haven't watched much of this yet, you might find it of some interest: Tommy Robinson and Dave Rubin: Islam, Immigration, and PegidaHunnyBunny wrote:These sort have been around for decades, but can still only muster 100 people Europe wide to come to a march in Newcastle (and when they got there they hide in a pub because the nasty jewish, black hippies were being mean to them and throwing eggs  ). ....
These aren't the people you can spend time engaging with to turn away from Pegida or UKIP. I'm sure there are some here who will try, cos they're uber non judgemental  , personally I'd rather watch paint dry.
