Pretty much. When you are suddenly single in your 30s after a decade-long stretch the dating world is quite bizarre.
Virtually every girl I meet is heavy on the patriarchy, or already in a stable relationship.
I don't have the drive of 18 year old me anymore so quite acquiesced to the possibility that it's singletown from here on out.

Indeed - popcorn at the ready. But seems it's going to be livestreamed by many, including CNN on YouTube:

Somewhat? I pay good money for much less amusing media. Islam just pisses me off at this point unless it's a story involving massive Isis casualties.

Somewhat apropos of which, Logicked did a video on Eid with a non-ironic trigger warning & I really should've listened to him. Bloody, brutal throat-cutting of sheep & camels. Seeing that did me no good at all. I can't find a single redeeming quality to that death cult. Even the jihadi bloopers feel like they're reaching a bit.

Are we going to get some action going? Dave, I'll wager a fiver at 10 to 1 Clinton passes out. Dramatically swaying counts. "Dramatically" to be decided by a jury of our peers if it gets contentious.

10:1 for or against? Dunno that I care enough to hold out a $50.

I'll probably do a $20 just to see this go before the jury of our peers, which I assume to mean pitters.

The outcome of this debate depends not only whether either reveals they are reptilian shapeshifters, but even more important is if Trump can look presidential enough:

The big question is who will do the "kiss in Times Square" scene? ( I know rape culture!!!)
When I read about the bunker, I felt pretty good.....except of course when that bastard Hitler poisoned his dog. That was the moment I realised just how evil he was!!!

:P

Anyway, Iike this analogy. I've always thought of PZ and the SJW Baboons as Nazis.

They are like minor league serial killers. They were big news for a time, but after 10 years in prison, most have forgot about them. We are like the prison guards, making sure they don't get up to mischief. We are still keeping our eyes on them to make sure they can't hurt people, even though everybody else has forgotten about them.

We continue to expose and laugh at them, so others can continue with their lives. :D

Semi-related: a (self-selected, geekier etc) sample of Millennials respond to the idea of having children. Answers range from "ha ha, I can barely support myself" to "fuck that". If they're looking for partners at all and aren't single, they can't afford it. If they can afford it, they're actively turned off by the idea. Even the ones that are interested are planning on waiting so long that they're likely to need medical assistance or have complications.

If she doesn't edit or do production work... That means what we see coming out of her mouth is her only and best effort.... Holy Shit...

How did she ever get anywhere in the A/S movement? She's abysmal.

1. I can't believe one of these two is going to be POTUS.

2. Local paper is continuously updating a online article with tweets from B list celebrities and left leaning talking heads. All proclaiming how horrible Trump is.

2a. Right or not, that is what I am hearing middle of the roaders I work with say motivates them to move in Trump's direction. "Media is out to get him." "The elites can't stand him."

2b. They are making a silver spoon billionaire be the common man's choice.

2c. If the media would stop having six antiTrump headlines at the top of their pages every day, he would lose 10 points in a month.

3. Fuck Carrier and all his targets. Praying to no gods that this goes to court, everyone ends up broke and with contempt of court charges.

He start losing it right after I said that. I maintain for a lot of Americans he just didn't have to come off as the crazy caricature that the Clinton ads, and comedy bits have painted him has. He didn't do that at the end.

Clinton started getting too cocky and dismissive. Gore did the same thing to Bush and look how that turned out.

I think this was basically a wash.

Each time one of the two of them speak my preference tilts back in favor of the other one. I suppose it's just a race to the bottom til I eventually get fed up and do a write-in for Just Fucking End It All.

Hillary bitchslapped Trump 65/35 at least.
I have some bias because I dislike Trump slightly more than Clinton, so...

If I had to choose I would give it to him 52/48, 51/49.
He had some good moments. He rebutted her zingers better than she rebutted his.

I will say it was entertaining.
They both played to their supporters. I'll wait till the polling comes in to declare a winner. I'm told prediction markets moved in Hillary's favor, but they lean more educated, a demo that leans to her.

Clinton is getting a couple of zingys in.
All of my friends are quite sure that Trump looks like a complete and utter moron fascist baby killer (but not the abortion kind of baby killing, because that's a woman's choice).

They also refuse to mention that Hillary seems to have had some botox in her immovable eyebrows.

She was a bit. I don't think she was nearly as bad a Gore was.

95% of the patrons are cheering Trump.
Given Trump's history with unions that's ironic.

I think the next debate will be a lot more fun. It seems that Trump was told not to go after Clinton and thus he missed a lot of opportunities to slam her on stuff and didn't do it. Next time I think he will just be cut loose.
