And the MSM are all communists that have an irrational hate of Russia because they rejected communism for democracy and free enterprise. :liar:
Jesus fucking Christ! When did I ever say that Trump was honest? Pay attention. That fucker is a complete ass-hole and every other thing he says is a lie. He's a fucking actor.
I'd say con man, but it's a matter of definitions.
What amazes me is that people like you (and every fucking nit-wit in the media) think Trump should tell the truth. He doesn't tell the truth in public. Get over it. He has no desire to change and never will change. THIS IS NOT A STORY. It's fucking amazing that every fucking day the media talks about Trump's behavior.... even though it has NEVER CHANGED. Honestly... there is a kind of group retard thing going on. All you have to do is read one or two chapters from his book.... He uses "plausible hyperbole." Only an idiot would not realize this.
I get that Trump is deliberately exaggerating and bragging to troll people. It's a very good sales pitch, and it drives many of his critics insane, but do you think that this is also a good way to run a country?
Now what I do expect is that Trump can be pretty clever when making deals with people. He knows how to push people's buttons. He is a schmoozer. Schmoozer-in-chief. This is why he doesn't like the little details in running the government. He has a team of people who are competent to run things and he expects them to deliver. If they don't deliver they get fired... like Flinn and Comey.
I think Trump is actually very good at selling his brand and enriching himself. He's shitty at delivering anything useful (see Trump Steak, Trump University, Trump Casino, etc.). He's running a con, and you're right, he knows how to push people's buttons. But here the thing: the US aren't Trump, Inc. They're a country, which should be ran for the good of its citizens, not for the interests of Donald Trump. Also running a country isn't the same thing as running a business. It's one thing to be good at impressing business partners through bragging and shows of force, another to deal with international politics, where fine details matter and being a schmoozer and good salesman isn't always the best choice.
People say... "Well John D.... don't you think the President should know everything going on in the government?" My answer is no. If I ran that billion dollar bureaucracy I would do what Trump is doing. I would hire experienced people and then tell them not to fuck up.
Delegating responsibilities is a smart choice, but you need to listen to the experts you're hiring and consult with them before you try things you're not prepared for. Otherwise you'll be the one who fucks up.
This is what happened in the case of the accidental leak of information to Russia. Trump doesn't have experience in working in intelligence, so he didn't realize he might reveal information which the Russians might use to acquire more information. There's nothing wrong with being a president and not knowing all the finer details of the investigations of your intelligence services, but you should at the very least listen to your intelligence experts before you discuss those investigations with the representatives of a foreign power.
Running a country isn't the same thing as running a business.
