It looks to me like the police and MSM are giving the half truths and PJW is probably giving us the other half. But even if this was a half truth, 'half' is more than we usually get from the MSM, but somehow this makes PJW a nutter?

Incidentally, yesterday afternoon I was talking to my German friend when she told me of a terrorist incident in Oxford street. She shared a link of a news site with a livestream and ticker which did indeed say the police had 'confirmed' gunshots and that they were responding to a terrorist incident. Lets not pretend that PJW and Tommy Robinson are the only ones who got it wrong.

This seems about as defensible as an SJW saying "did you know the police are trained and authorized to shoot black people?"

Ok off topic but I need your help here. I know the standard has dropped of late but It really bugs me when I see a cartoon in Private Eye and I cant work out the hell its supposed to be about and the punchline may not be worth the effort.
This doesn't refer to anything on the page it was on, it's from an issue about a year old but I can't think of anything topical other than Govt army spending cuts. I know a shiner is a black eye but that doesn't get me very far. Maybe you military types can decode it or Is it not just me who is baffled by this one? Or am I missing something obvious?
