They don’t trust that we are capable of having a rational debate about such complex issues as Islam, extremism and the crisis of integration — the fact that many new arrivals seem unwilling to embrace British values these days.
This is fundamentally what the Manchester horror revealed: That terrorists hold our lives in contempt, and the political class holds our opinions in contempt.
Radical Islamists want to hurt us. Our political superiors want to silence us. Enough.

I promised to at least stop by and give an update. While my life is better than it's been it. my laptop has seen better days which is one of the reason I am not around so much.
Anyway back in February of last year I lost the apartment and we spent a most of the year in a hotel before moving in to a place for a while with a friend. Just got the family moved back into our own place. It's just east of Atlanta (Lithonia) and it's in a decent neighborhood. It's not so nice that I can leave the car door unlocked but before the family moved in I did leave the front door unlocked for 3 days before I noticed.
I've actually left the large company I was working for because it was kinda of a shitty job. I know work for a small telcomm start up where I am valued and paid more. So on that front life is better.
On the Ex front. Let's just say she has gone MIA and I am looking better and better in this whole thing and that's just sad.

Ooh the Daily Stormer called JP 'The Savior of Western Civilization' did it? Well, the Daily Stormer also backed Jeremy Corbyn for British PM at the last election, but funnily enough, you don't hear too much about that from lefty types.InfraRedBucket wrote: ↑ Another day, another hachet job on "Nazi enabler" Peterson

- On Friday, a left-leaning Jewish magazine, the Forward, published an article by Ari Feldman titled “Is Jordan Peterson Enabling Jew Hatred?” accompanied by a picture of Adolf Hitler giving the Nazi salute next to Peterson. The Forward explains Vox-style: “Jordan Peterson is a public intellectual adored by neo-Nazis, white supremacists and conspiracy theorists. The neo-Nazi website the Daily Stormer called [him] ‘The Savior of Western Civilization.’”
Peterson got them to change the picture of him with Hitler, but they've doubled down on everything else.

Police now distance themselves from an earlier statement by the on duty investigator, after last weekend's reported attempted rape on Frösön.
In the interview with P4 Jämtland on duty investigator Suss Braunerhielm says that "it's summer, a lot of this kind of thing will happen this summer, I think" and that you should "be alert and preferably not walk outside late on your own".
"In some cases things get formulated incorrectly and in this case that might have happened," says Max Olsson, local chief of police in Östersund.
Max Olsson says that it is not dangerous to be outside in Östersund.
"I think she meant something else in that interview. We can note that there is considerably more crime out of doors when it's warm out. There's nothing we warn women in particular about, being outside during evening and late at night," Max Olsson says.
Tomorrow, David will be a candidate for election as an office-holder in his Constituency Labour Party in Basingstoke. He is standing for election as women’s officer, a post that Labour rules say can only be held by a woman. David is standing for that post because he is a woman. On Wednesdays, at least. When we spoke yesterday, he put it like this:
“I self-identify as a woman on Wednesdays, between 6.50am when my alarm goes off and around midnight when I go to bed.”
Quite beautiful. Elfwick level trolling, of the PLP no less. The Basingstoke Labour Party last week accepted the womanness of David and his beard. He is listed as a candidate for election as CLP Women’s Officer, a post that involves encouraging women to join the party and generally speaking for women, their concerns and their experiences.
James Kirkup of The Spectator has been a consistent and level-headed critic of this horseshit for months.Tigzy wrote: ↑Tomorrow, David will be a candidate for election as an office-holder in his Constituency Labour Party in Basingstoke. Surely 'comrade' would be the better choice?MarcusAu wrote: ↑Tue May 22, 2018 9:02 amMaybe we do need a gender neutral pronoun for everyone.
The police could refer to everyone as 'citizen', teachers could refer to those in their charge as 'student' and the general public could use 'comrade' (or perhaps something less evocative) for each other. 'They' still sounds a bit awkward to me.
Anything else (eg in personal relationships) would be by private arrangement.
It would not be up to the authorities to recognize or enforce preferences, or provide guidelines for what other people choose to do.
Since last spring, Chinese authorities in the heavily Muslim region of Xinjiang have ensnared tens, possibly hundreds of thousands of Muslim Chinese — and even foreign citizens — in mass internment camps. This detention campaign has swept across Xinjiang, a territory half the area of India, leading to what a U.S. commission on China last month said is “the largest mass incarceration of a minority population in the world today.”
The internment program tries to rewire the political thinking of detainees, erase their Islamic beliefs and reshape their very identities. Chinese officials have largely avoided comment, but some have said in state media that ideological changes are needed to fight separatism and Islamic extremism. Radical Muslim Uighurs killed hundreds in China in years past.
That was hard to watch. Peterson talks at 30,000 feet about everything and comes off as petulant in a few places. I don't think he's all that compelling, but he's probably still the best participant. Dyson believes that he and all other black people live in a space-time warp field where everywhere is 1920s era Alabama, and everyone is either a former slave or their child or grandchild. In Dyson's world everyone black is denied basic humanity and lives under constant threat of lynching. Fry doesn't like word policing and doesn't want the thought police, but isn't particularly critical of any SJ dogma, and is eager to declare that he isn't really a shitlord. Goldberg is the feminist who genuinely believes that feminism is just equality for women, and doesn't really get why people are upset.Matt Cavanaugh wrote: ↑ Peterson has archived the Munk debate:

I don't know about the Corbyn endorsement from the Stormer, but I do know that the Stormer 'endorsement' of Peterson is complete bullshit. In fact, they have written several pieces about him being a "faggot", and some kind of false messiah. Obviously, that Forward piece didn't do the most basic research.InfraRedBucket wrote: ↑ Another day, another hachet job on "Nazi enabler" Peterson
