Everyone vaguely aware of Red House autonomous zone/stand off in Portland?
Impoverished Black and Indigenous family taken advantage of by predatory lending practices, gentrification and oppressive policies against minorities when they were forced to mortgage their home in an attempt to keep their son from being railroaded by legal system. They were about to lose their family home of 60+ years before heroic activists moved in to stop the agents of a corrupt oligarchy from seizing the property and kicking the family to the street at the beginning of winter during a pandemic!
That was the universal media narrative four days ago.
Also four days ago a variety of internet sleuths did a little googling and filled in some details. One example:

Oh, and it not just the original narrative from CNN, but a specially curated one. Note the vague "son's legal fees" as the reason for the mortgage loan. Will just skip over the vehicular manslaughter charge with a suspended license. Also note the end of article quotes from the family lawyer "William Nietzche". Reporter kinda forgot to mention that Nietzche is the aforementioned manslaughter son.
Wiki and CNN also don't breathe a word of the fact that son and mother have been full blown nutty sovereign citizens for several years now. That's why the mortgage stopped being paid. They have been nailing every entity vaguely involved with a metric fuckton of batshit pseudo legal babble and filings for years explaining why they aren't citizens of the United States and aren't subject to laws and their legal entities are via Trusts based in ancient lands and...all the stock sovereign nuttery.
Hell, earlier this year the son issued yet another pseudo legal missive in which he arbitrarily declared the county court must respond at a certain time/date. Strangely enough the legal system did not jump at his request. So he and a cosplaying friend went to an empty courtroom and declared they were seizing the court under the auspices of the Moroccan Treaty of Friendship. Can you believe the government used mercenaries (county deputies) to remove him from his own courtroom!?
Anyway, the local leftists are falling over themselves to save the property. Hundreds of thousands of dollars raised. Armed guards at the property. Barricades on the streets. Cops attacked. Reporters attacked. Neighbors fleeing. All for a family with money who due to batty right wing views stopped paying their mortgage.
