Misogyny on FTB
Misogyny on FTB
Here's a thread to document misogyny approved by FTB.
1) 'Chill girl'
2) 'Sister punisher'
3) 'Gender traitor'
All these seem to be used to dismiss the opinions of women who disagree with them.
Last night, they swamped the #FTBullies hashtag on Twitter to drown out Paula Kirby. That's not misogyny exactly, but it doesn't show that they don't really believe it when they say "LISTEN TO THE WOMEN"!

Re: Misogyny on FTB
A couple really egregious offenses stick out.
One, PeeZus treating women like children. This is probably the most subtle and most common form of misogyny in our society. It tends to fly under the radar given it's passive aggressive nature.
Two, the horrid treatment of *all* women that disagree with them.
Three, the misuse and abuse of various anti-harassment policies in order to punish men they simply don't like. This strikes me as patently offensive to all women that have been victims of actual, for-reals, harassment.

I don't remember where on PZ's blog, but I think someone called Abbie a "self hating woman" or something along those lines.
I've also heard "colluder" to describe non-radfems but not from FT blogs.

Maybe here; I don't have time to wade through all the Anti-Abbie rhetoric:Stretchycheese wrote:I don't remember where on PZ's blog, but I think someone called Abbie a "self hating woman" or something along those lines.

The dead porcupine meme.
I hear they've replaced it with "go die in a fire".
I knew someone who died in a fire. Well, actually she died a month later when the 3rd degree burns covering most of her body got infected.
But that beats being raped I guess.

Sorry, I can't resist:
Trigger Warning: I'm going to say "RAPE IT WITH FIRE!!!"
Rape it with FIRE!!!
Re: Misogyny on FTB
Yup, with everything they call misogyny this should be called misogyny too..it's sexist! that's what I've been saying! They are SPECIFIC words especially reserved for women who don't agree with everything they say.Notung wrote:Here's a thread to document misogyny approved by FTB.

Hmm, maybe it's just me but xanax online doesn't seem misogynistic, whether brand or generic.
